Unique Home Solutions is giving away 40 bicycles to 40 students at Maplewood Elementary School. Maplewood Elementary School is located just blocks from the office of UHS and does have a large number of families who could use a little extra help this holiday season. UHS is raffling away the bicycles on Dec. 8 at Maplewood’s Holly Jolly Holiday Event.

This event is one of the Parent/Teacher Organization’s (PTO) largest fundraisers and is open to the public. The event will be held at the school from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.; meal tickets will be sold for $5, there will be a photo opportunity with Santa, shopping at Santa’s Shop, Carolers, Face Painting and an opportunity for children to write a letter to Santa Claus.

The bike raffle is a free drawing and all students at Maplewood are welcome to submit their name into the raffle box. The bicycle winners will be announced at 6:45 p.m. The bicycles will be delivered to the school on Monday, December 12 for families to pick up.

In addition to being a neighbor of UHS, Maplewood Elementary School students were chosen as the recipients of the bicycle raffle because of the large population of children in need attending the school. This project also reflects UHS’ dedication to building healthy and beautiful communities around Indiana. UHS is also a Toys for Tots Drop off location and is sponsoring two families through the United Christmas Fund this holiday season.
