Unique Partners with Toys for Tots

The U.S. Marine Corps and Unique Home Solutions are already gearing up for Christmas!

2010 marks the fifth year Unique has participated in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program as an official donation drop-off location. Toys for Tots is one of the nation’s premier community action programs, looking after needy children since 1947. The Marine Corps expect to reach 30,000 children in Indianapolis and over seven million children nationwide by the end of the holiday season.

Due to the growing needs of local children, Unique is asking for everyone’s support as we have five huge boxes to fill! Bring new, unwrapped toys to the Unique Home Solutions Showroom located at 5550 Progress Dr. Indianapolis. Drop your donations off Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. or on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. through Dec. 17.

Unique Home Solutions is proud to participate in the Toys for Tots campaign, helping the U.S. Marine Corps deliver on their motto, “Every kid deserves a toy for Christmas”. Unique won the Commander’s Award for outstanding achievement and support of the program in both 2006 and 2007 and saw our largest the toy donation yet in 2009.

For 63 years, Marines have been the unchallenged leaders in looking after needy children at Christmas. The Toys for Tots message of hope has motivated youngsters to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders. Toys for Tots not only benefits children, but the program also has a positive impact on communities, businesses, the Marine Corps and the nation.
